Who can take part
- You are 35 to 65 years old and live in the community (not in a care facility full-time).
- You have sleep study–confirmed severe OSA (AHI 30+/hour overall and NREM AHI 15+/hour).
- You have been using CPAP consistently for at least 3 months, averaging 5+ hours per night, 5+ nights per week.
- You agree to stop using CPAP for 14 nights as part of the study.
- You can give informed consent and speak and understand English well enough for study steps.
- You are not a commercial driver and you do not have certain major health conditions that make CPAP withdrawal unsafe.
