Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- Your lung cancer is confirmed as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by biopsy or cancer cell testing, and it is stage Ia to IIa (T1-2N0M0)
- Your tumor is in the lung’s outer (peripheral) area—at least 2 cm from the esophagus, main airways, spinal cord, heart, large blood vessels, and stomach; and at least 1 cm from the chest wall
- You cannot have surgery for medical reasons, or you choose not to have surgery
- Blood counts and organ function are high enough for radiation (bone marrow, liver, kidneys, and basic lung function)
- You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and you must be able to sign consent and follow the treatment plan
