Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
- You must have stage III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is locally advanced and cannot be removed with surgery.
- Your primary tumor must be at least 4 cm in size before the radiation treatment.
- You must be generally able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0–2).
- Your blood counts, lung function, heart function, liver, and kidney function must be within certain safe limits.
- You cannot have had radiation to your chest before, or have certain metal implants or a pacemaker.
