Who can take part

  • You’re a man age 18 or older
  • Your prostate cancer has come back in the same area after prior radiation, and it’s been at least 2 years since that radiation
  • Your cancer does not appear to have spread (no metastases) on scans or exam
  • You can have an MRI scan (no intolerance/contraindications) and can manage the study procedures
  • Your urinary function is reasonably good: IPSS under 20 and urine flow rate over 10 mL/second
  • You’re well enough for daily activities: WHO performance status 0–2, and you’re expected to live more than 10 years
