Who can take part
- You can and agree to sign consent forms for trial screening.
- Your cancer is a bile duct cancer (intrahepatic, perihilar, or distal) or gallbladder cancer; ampullary cancer is not included.
- Your cancer is advanced (cannot be removed by surgery) or has spread, and you are expected to live more than 3 months.
- You have tumor tissue available from a past biopsy/surgery, or you can have another biopsy to get tissue.
- You must be age 18 or older and well enough to do daily activities (ECOG 0 or 1).
- You start standard first-line treatment (often “1L-SoC”), then after 4 cycles, your cancer must be stable or responding to be eligible for randomization.
