Who can take part
- You have a type of bile duct cancer (intrahepatic, extrahepatic, or gallbladder) that is adenocarcinoma or adenosquamous carcinoma and cannot be removed by surgery or has spread.
- You have never received treatment for advanced or metastatic bile duct cancer (prior chemotherapy after surgery is okay if it ended more than 6 months ago).
- Your cancer can be seen on scans (measurable disease).
- You are able to provide a tumor tissue sample for testing.
- You are in good general health (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
- You do not have certain eye disorders or problems with calcium or phosphate levels.
