Who can take part
- Be between 13 and 18 years old
- Have a diagnosis of major depressive disorder (MDD), as defined by the study’s clinicians
- Be able to do MRI scans safely (no metal/other MRI-safety issues)
- Be fluent in English
- For ages 13–17, have parent/guardian permission and your own assent; if 18, provide informed consent
