Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with stomach cancer that has not spread to distant organs or directly into the pancreas or spleen.
- Your cancer is at a stage where surgery with lymph node removal is appropriate.
- You are in good physical condition (ECOG 0 or 1) and have low to moderate surgical risk (ASA I-III).
- You have not had any previous stomach surgery or upper abdominal surgery (except gallbladder removal by laparoscopy).
- You have not received chemotherapy or radiation before surgery, and you have not had another cancer in the last 5 years.
