Who can take part

  • Age between 18 and 75 years
  • Diagnosed with stomach cancer (adenocarcinoma) that has not spread to other organs
  • Cancer is at stage cT2-4a, meaning it has grown into or through the stomach wall but not to distant sites
  • Good overall health (ECOG score 0 or 1) and able to tolerate surgery (ASA class I-III)
  • No prior stomach surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation for this cancer
  • No other cancer within the last 5 years, no serious heart or lung problems
