Neurofeedback training to improve balance in vestibular schwannoma

This study tests whether brain “neurofeedback” training, along with a balance rehab plan, can help people with dizziness/balance symptoms from unilateral vestibular schwannoma. You may qualify if you can follow the study schedule and safely move your head and walk during testing.

Who can take part

  • You can sign an informed consent form and agree to join for the whole study
  • You’re in generally good health, or you have a unilateral vestibular schwannoma
  • You’re willing to follow the study’s SWAN and/or vestibular rehabilitation sessions
  • You are not currently taking anti-nausea (antiemetic) medicine
  • You don’t have neck or spine problems that limit head movement to less than 30 degrees
  • You can walk and stand on your own (no orthopedic issue that makes this unsafe)
