Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older with type 1 or type 2 diabetes
- Your foot pain has been going on at least 6 months and affects both feet fairly similarly
- Your pain score is at least 4 out of 10 in both legs/feet on average over the last 7 days
- Your pain matches nerve-pain features (like numbness/sensation loss, or extreme sensitivity/pain from light touch)
- You can stay on your current pain medicines unchanged for at least 1 month before and during the study
- You must be able to speak, read, and understand Danish and follow study visits
- If you could become pregnant, you must use reliable birth control; no pregnancy during the study
