Proteomics study in newly diagnosed small cell lung cancer

Who can take part

  • You (or your legal guardian) can sign an informed consent form
  • Your SCLC is newly diagnosed (confirmed by biopsy or a related test)
  • Your scans show measurable spots the doctors can track on CT
  • Your care team plans to treat you with standard chemotherapy: carboplatin plus etoposide
  • You have not had cancer treatment before, except for certain minor skin/cervical cases
  • You are not taking blood thinners, except aspirin and/or clopidogrel
