Who can take part
- You have a traumatic neck spinal cord injury that is “motor-complete” (AIS A or B)
- You are age 18 to 70, and you can understand and sign consent in English
- Your arm/shoulder strength is moderately strong at C5 (motor grade 4–5)
- Your hand/forearm/upper inner arm strength is very weak at C8 or T1 (motor grade 0–1)
- Your injury happened within 6 months before the surgery date
- You can attend and follow the study testing and rehabilitation plan (in person or virtual)
