Who can take part
- You agree to sign a consent form and you are at least 18 years old.
- Your tumor was confirmed in lab tests as metaplastic breast cancer (with HER2-negative) and/or triple-negative breast cancer with certain cell types (squamous and/or sarcomatoid features).
- Your cancer is advanced and can be measured on scans (locally advanced inoperable or metastatic with measurable disease).
- You are able to do daily activities at a basic level (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
- Your blood and organ labs are within required ranges (including enough blood cells and healthy liver/kidney function).
- You can take pills by mouth, and you can take aspirin; also, blood sugar must be reasonably controlled.
