Aortic Infections and InflammationsMycotic AneurysmArterial Infections and InflammationsProsthetic Infection

Part of Heart & circulation, Infections clinical trials.

This trial studies how to care for infections that involve the aorta or other large blood vessels. If you have signs and test results that fit this diagnosis, you may be invited to help researchers better understand the condition and treatments.

NCT05777447Recruiting
Study for infected aorta/iliac aneurysm after in-place repair

This study looks at treatment outcomes for people whose aorta or iliac artery aneurysm became infected (a “mycotic” aneurysm) and who were treated with an in-place repair. It may help doctors understand the best way to manage this rare condition after surgery.

Roma, RM
NCT05777681Recruiting
Treating infection in the aorta or iliac arteries

This trial studies a surgical product made from animal tissue to treat infections involving the aorta and nearby blood vessels. It may help people whose grafts or weak spots (aneurysms) are infected.

NCT06866535Recruiting
Vascular infection study for patients 18 and older

This trial is studying patients with infections in blood vessels, whether natural or from a graft, to better understand and treat them.

Bordeaux
NCT02306200Recruiting
A study to improve heart and aorta health

This trial looks at ways to improve cardiovascular (heart and blood vessel) health, especially conditions that affect the aorta, such as aneurysms, or vascular problems that may run in families. If you have an aortic-related or other cardiovascular diagnosis (or you’re a healthy comparison participant), you may be invited to take part in this health-improvement program.

Ann Arbor, Michigan
NCT07696884Recruiting
Vascular graft and endograft infection study

This study looks at how the body responds to infections in artificial blood vessels (vascular grafts or endografts). It may help understand why some people get infections and how to better treat them.

Aarhus
NCT05603520Recruiting
Study of how the aorta varies in healthy people and patients

This study uses MRI scans to understand how different parts of the aorta look and behave, including in healthy volunteers and people with aortic problems. It may help researchers better describe differences in the aorta that could improve future diagnosis or treatment planning.
