- You have an ascending aortic aneurysm that needs surgery.
- You are over 18 years old.
- You have agreed to take part in the study.

- You do not have uncontrolled inflammation, autoimmune disease, recent infection, or genetic aneurysm conditions like Marfan syndrome.
