Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have jaw muscle pain for at least 3 months
  • Your jaw pain is diagnosed as a muscle pain condition using DC/TMD (a jaw exam questionnaire/system)
  • You do not have severe nerve (neurological) or severe mental health (psychiatric) conditions
  • You are not taking medicines that could affect the nerves or muscles involved
  • You do not have substance addiction, active alcohol/drug problems, cancer, or current pregnancy
