Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a certain level of jaw pain (score above 15 on a jaw pain questionnaire)
  • You have not had treatment for your jaw or neck (like dental, physical therapy, or surgery) in the last 6 months
  • You are not currently using pain relievers, anti-inflammatory drugs, or muscle relaxants
  • You have not had major injury or surgery to your neck, jaw, or face
  • You do not have missing teeth, partial or full dentures, or certain diseases (neurological, rheumatological, or inflammatory)
