Who can take part
- You have confirmed breast cancer: ductal, invasive breast cancer, or certain early non-invasive types
- You are a woman age 18 to 75
- Your cancer treatment plan includes specific chest/lymph-area radiation doses (40 Gy in 15 treatments, plus an extra boost to the tumor area)
- Your overall health is good enough for study treatment (ECOG score 0 to 2)
- Blood tests in the last 28 days meet required limits (enough red blood cells, white cells, platelets, and safe liver/kidney levels)
- You can use effective birth control (and test negative for pregnancy if at risk) and agree to follow the study plan
