Who can take part
- You have confirmed hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by pathology (tissue testing).
- Your liver cancer is advanced and cannot be removed or has spread, and there is at least one measurable tumor spot on scans.
- Your liver function is fairly preserved (Child-Pugh class A or B) and any fluid buildup (ascites) is controlled with water pills, with no brain confusion from liver disease.
- You can provide tumor tissue for testing (archived tumor tissue from a previous procedure is allowed).
- Your overall health and blood tests are good enough (bone marrow, kidney, and liver numbers meet the study’s cutoff levels).
- You agree to attend scheduled visits and blood tests, and you use effective birth control during the study and for 4 weeks after the last dose.
