Who can take part

  • You have a jaw muscle pain diagnosis called TMD myalgia or myofascial pain based on DC/TMD criteria
  • You are female, agree to reliable birth control, and have a negative pregnancy test before treatment
  • Pressing on your jaw’s masseter (cheek/jaw muscle) causes pain
  • Your usual pain is fairly intense (over 40 out of 100)
  • You can understand the study in Swedish
