Who can take part
- You have a documented history of atrial fibrillation (AF).
- You had a non-bleeding stroke (ischemic stroke) within a certain time window around enrollment, and brain scans showed stroke that improved within 24 hours.
- You plan to stay on a blood thinner for the whole study (either a vitamin K antagonist like warfarin or a DOAC).
- Your care team believes you can take one additional antiplatelet medicine (like aspirin or similar) along with your blood thinner for 6 months.
- Your neck artery anatomy must fit implant safety requirements on ultrasound or angiogram, with no major blockage (no 50% or more internal carotid narrowing) and no prior stent/dissection in the common carotid artery.
