Who can take part
- Be between 6 and 16 years old
- Have a recent FEV1 result above 60% (a measure of how well air moves out of the lungs)
- Be coming to a lung function lab for a methacholine breathing sensitivity test
- If using inhaled steroids, stop them for at least 3 weeks before testing
- Not have a respiratory infection (cold/chest infection) in the last 3 weeks
