Dinner routine study for weight and prediabetes health

Who can take part

  • Be age 18 to 50 and able to follow study instructions for the full study period
  • Choose the correct group: healthy weight (BMI 18–24.9) or obesity with prediabetes (BMI 30+)
  • Be able to sleep normally and not have sleep disorders like untreated sleep apnea or narcolepsy
  • Not work night shifts, and your usual sleep timing should not be very late (bed after 1:00 AM most nights)
  • Avoid active smoking and avoid current alcohol or drug use that would make it hard to follow the study
  • Not have diabetes (unless taking only metformin), and avoid certain other medical problems like kidney disease or major heart/metabolic disease
