Study of how cardiogenic shock patients do in the ICU

Cardiogenic Shock

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study looks at what happens to people with cardiogenic shock while they are in the intensive care unit (ICU), including how their heart and blood circulation change over time. It may help doctors better understand the course of illness in this specific type of shock and improve care.

NCT05415332Recruiting
Tracking outcomes for cardiogenic shock in ICU

This study looks at how people with cardiogenic shock (or very low blood pressure from heart causes) do after treatment in a specialized cardiovascular ICU. It also examines whether care by heart critical-care specialists affects outcomes.

NCT07266675Recruiting
Recovery after cardiogenic shock study

This trial looks at what happens to people after they survive a serious heart condition called cardiogenic shock, where the heart suddenly can't pump enough blood. Researchers want to understand recovery and improve care for survivors.

NCT03378739Recruiting
Registry study for cardiogenic shock care at Inova

This study collects information about how cardiogenic shock is treated in the hospital at Inova (for sudden worsening heart failure or a heart attack). It may help improve care for future patients, because the research team will learn what treatments and outcomes are associated with different situations.

Heart disease patients in intensive care study

This trial observes patients admitted to the cardiac intensive care unit with acute heart or blood vessel problems. It aims to learn more about their conditions and treatments.

NCT06827314Recruiting
Treating cardiogenic shock with drug and mechanical support

This trial is testing different approaches (medications and mechanical support) to help people with acute heart failure and cardiogenic shock (a sudden drop in the heart's pumping ability). It looks at how well these treatments work in a network of hospitals to improve outcomes.

Heart Failure Crisis Registry Study

This registry collects information from patients admitted to the hospital with cardiogenic shock—a serious condition where the heart cannot pump enough blood to the body. Doctors will gather data to better understand what happens to these patients and how to improve their care.
