Treating cardiogenic shock with drug and mechanical support

Cardiogenic ShockAcute Coronary Event

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This trial is testing different approaches (medications and mechanical support) to help people with acute heart failure and cardiogenic shock (a sudden drop in the heart's pumping ability). It looks at how well these treatments work in a network of hospitals to improve outcomes.

Hong Kong cardiogenic shock study

This trial tests a treatment plan for people having a severe heart attack that causes cardiogenic shock, where the heart can't pump enough blood. The study uses a special heart pump to support patients during an emergency procedure to open blocked arteries.
