Who can take part

  • You are between 6 and 18 years old when the study starts
  • A clinician has diagnosed autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Your body weight is not too low (BMI is at least the 5th percentile)
  • A parent or legal guardian can sign consent and join study visits
  • You must avoid certain conditions or syndromes that can affect bones or heart health
  • You must not take certain bone-affecting medicines besides calcium or vitamin D
