Who can take part
- You have systemic amyloidosis with organ involvement, or you carry a certain transthyretin gene mutation
- Or you have multiple myeloma, or monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS)
- You are willing to sign consent and complete all study procedures
- You can safely complete the required imaging tests (no severe claustrophobia or other imaging-blocking condition)
- You are not allergic to potassium iodide or gadolinium-based contrast medicine
- Your kidney function is good enough for the heart MRI contrast (eGFR 30 or higher); and you are not on dialysis
