Who can take part

  • You must be older than 18 years old.
  • You have septic shock, diagnosed at least 24 hours ago.
  • Your blood pressure is still low: MAP under 65 mmHg.
  • Your care team has decided to increase norepinephrine (NE) because of low blood pressure.
  • You are not currently receiving dobutamine.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have a “do not resuscitate” decision in place.
