  • You must be over 18 years old
  • Your heart rhythm must be normal and steady (sinus rhythm)
  • You must be able to sign informed consent
  • You must not be pregnant
  • You should not need any additional carotid (neck artery) procedure around the time of surgery
  • You must be able to safely have an MRI scan
