Radiation plan test for early prostate cancer with a boost

Prostate CancerRadiotherapy Side EffectHypofractionationBrachytherapyRadiotherapyLocalized Prostate Carcinoma

Part of Cancer, Injuries & trauma, Kidney & urinary clinical trials.

This trial tests a more concentrated radiation schedule for early-stage prostate cancer, using an extra high-dose “boost” delivered from inside the body. It may help by treating the prostate more precisely while aiming to keep side effects manageable.

NCT05313815Recruiting
Test a stronger prostate radiation boost for high-risk prostate cancer

This trial studies whether giving a moderate “boost” dose of radiation to the prostate—along with radiation to the pelvic area—can better control high-risk localized prostate cancer. You may benefit if you have high-risk disease and can safely receive radiation.

NCT07426094Recruiting· Phase 2/Phase 3
Boosting radiation for prostate cancer in lymph nodes

This trial tests whether giving higher radiation doses to the prostate and pelvic lymph nodes is more effective than treating only the prostate. You may benefit if your prostate cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes but not to bones or other organs, and you are getting hormone therapy.

NCT04861415Recruiting
Testing a shorter radiation plan versus standard prostate radiation

This study compares two ways of giving radiation to the prostate, including a “boost” using a special internal radiation treatment. It’s meant to see which radiation schedule works better and is safer for certain prostate cancer patients.

NCT07325721Recruiting· Phase 2
Shorter radiation with a focused boost for high-risk prostate cancer

This trial tests a shorter course of radiation therapy with an extra 'boost' to the most aggressive part of the tumor, combined with hormone therapy, for men with high-risk or locally advanced prostate cancer that has not spread outside the pelvis.

NCT02016248Recruiting
Radiation “boost” for higher-risk prostate cancer

This trial studies whether adding a stronger “boost” dose of targeted radiation (SBRT) can better control higher-risk prostate cancer. It may help by increasing radiation coverage to the prostate while trying to limit treatment to surrounding areas.

NCT06330909Recruiting
Focused radiation boost for prostate cancer

This trial tests a newer, more precise radiation treatment that gives a higher dose to the main tumor while keeping radiation to the rest of the prostate the same. It is for men with intermediate- or high-risk prostate cancer who haven't had prior prostate radiation or removal.
