Who can take part

  • You can understand the study and sign informed consent
  • Your heart’s pumping function is mostly normal, with at most mild valve disease
  • If you’re a control person: you have atypical chest pain and are being tested for coronary microvascular dysfunction
  • If you had a type 2 heart attack (T2MI): your diagnosis must match the standard definition (troponin change plus symptoms or ischemia signs)
  • You must be able to take heparin during heart testing (no allergy or other reasons you can’t)
  • Your heart testing plan is compatible with medicines used in the study (acetylcholine, adenosine, and nitroglycerin)
