Who can take part
- Be between 2 and 8 years old
- Have a planned (not emergency) eye surgery that uses general anesthesia
- Be otherwise medically stable (ASA I or II—generally healthy or mild health issues)
- Have not had general anesthesia in the past month
- Not have autism or developmental delays
- Not have known brain, nervous system, or psychiatric conditions that commonly cause agitation, anxiety, attention problems, or sleep issues
