Who can take part

  • You use cochlear implants in both ears (both processors) for at least 6 hours per day for about a month
  • You’re age 8 to 16
  • Your implant “programs” are stable—no ongoing step-by-step changes to keep improving settings
  • You’ve had at least two usual care check-ups where hearing levels were stable (roughly within 10 dB across key frequencies)
  • You (or your parent/guardian) can understand and speak English well enough to do the assessments
