Who can take part

  • Be 10 to 17 years old (at consent time)
  • Have a diagnosis of chronic pain such as migraine or daily headache, abdominal pain (FAPD), localized or widespread muscle/joint pain, or CRPS
  • If you take pain or psychiatric medicines, doses must stay the same for 4 weeks before the first study visit
  • Be able to speak and complete interviews and questionnaires in English
  • Be able to safely have an MRI (no metal items that interfere, and you’re not too afraid of enclosed spaces)
