Brain pain testing in long-term joint pain and fibromyalgia

Who can take part

  • Be between 18 and 70 years old
  • Meet established diagnosis criteria for fibromyalgia (FM)
  • Meet established diagnosis criteria for rheumatoid arthritis (RA)
  • If you are a healthy volunteer, you must not have significant pain, fatigue, depression, or anxiety
  • Do not have diabetes, cancer, or serious heart, liver, or kidney disease
  • Do not have neuropathic pain (nerve-type pain)
