Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and can sign consent.
  • Your head and neck cancer is confirmed as squamous cell cancer in certain areas (mouth, throat parts, voice box, or neck origin).
  • You have limited spread to 1–5 metastases, and each spot can be treated with SABR (high-precision radiation).
  • Tumor testing meets requirements: PD-L1 CPS is 1 or higher, and if your cancer is in the oropharynx, your HPV p16 test is checked.
  • You can start first treatment for this spread, your disease is measurable on scans, and your functional status is good (ECOG 0–1).
  • You’ve recovered from any prior treatment side effects to mild levels (about grade 0–1) and you are not needing steroid pills to control side effects.
