- You can communicate in Finnish or English.
- You have a deep cavity in a first or second premolar or molar (chewing surface or between teeth).
- Your X-ray shows the cavity reaches into the deepest quarter of the tooth’s inner layer (dentine).
- Your tooth symptoms are none or mild (no more than reversible pulpitis), and cold/electric tests can still respond.
- The tooth’s gum support is mild (periodontal stage I or II).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you can and will sign consent.
