Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • Your arm has one-sided nerve pain lasting more than 12 months
  • Your pain is moderate to severe (VAS score over 5/10) and meets a nerve-pain questionnaire score (DN4 at least 4/10)
  • Your pain started from a problem affecting the arm nerves (for example after injury or surgery, or complex regional pain syndrome)
  • Standard treatments for nerve pain have not worked for you (including medicines like duloxetine/venlafaxine, gabapentin, pregabalin, some antidepressants, and options like lidocaine or capsaicin patches, and therapy)
  • You can complete self-filled questionnaires and you can undergo the planned procedure under anesthesia
