Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 74 years old
  • You have a kneecap (patellar) fracture
  • Your treatment would be at Hartford Hospital or Hartford HealthCare’s Bone and Joint Institute
  • You were able to walk on your leg before this injury (not non-ambulatory or very limited walking)
  • You have not had a previous kneecap (patellar) fracture
  • You do not have knee osteoarthritis before this injury
