- You are between 18 and 74 years old
- You have a kneecap (patellar) fracture
- Your treatment would be at Hartford Hospital or Hartford HealthCare’s Bone and Joint Institute
- You were able to walk on your leg before this injury (not non-ambulatory or very limited walking)
- You have not had a previous kneecap (patellar) fracture
- You do not have knee osteoarthritis before this injury
