Who can take part
- Be between 13 and 30 years old
- Have symptoms from recurrent (repeating) kneecap instability on the outer side of the kneecap
- Have a high TT–TG measurement on imaging (MRI ≥ 15 mm or CT ≥ 18 mm)
- Your growth plates (physes) must be closed based on knee X-rays
- You must be able to fill out computer-based outcome questionnaires
- You must not be pregnant at the time of surgery
