Who can take part
- Be 19 years of age or older
- Have stage C heart failure with heart pumping function under 40% (left ventricular ejection fraction <40%)
- Have significant artery narrowing (>50%) plus evidence of reduced blood flow to the heart during testing
- Be a candidate for a stent procedure (PCI) for the artery blockages
- Not have had a heart attack in the last 4 weeks, and have viable heart muscle on special testing
