Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have ongoing heart failure symptoms despite treatment (NYHA class II–IV) within the last month.
  • Your heart’s pumping strength is low (LVEF 40% or less) from an accepted scan or test.
  • Your coronary angiogram shows a meaningful amount of heart muscle is in danger, and doctors think you can be fully revascularized with either stent or bypass.
  • You have started guideline-based heart medications for at least 1 month (or these are started in the hospital before randomization when possible).
  • You can sign the consent form and have no major reasons listed that would prevent taking both treatments safely.
