Who can take part
- You’re 18 years or older
- You’re having planned (elective) maxillomandibular fixation jaw surgery under general anesthesia
- A breathing tube is placed through the nose (nasal endotracheal intubation) for the surgery
- You are not pregnant
- Your BMI is between 18.5 and 35
- You do not have major breathing, heart, nerve/muscle, or swallowing risk conditions
