- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have an ASA physical status of I or II (generally healthy or with mild illness).
- You are getting elective (non-emergency) surgery under general anesthesia with a breathing tube placed through your mouth.
- You do not have a known difficult airway or need a special method like an awake scope.
- You do not have a history of major neck problems (such as surgery, radiation, mass, or limited mouth opening).
- You are not pregnant and can understand and sign a consent form.
