Who can take part

  • Your child has had type 1 diabetes for at least 1 year and is using insulin (shots or a pump)
  • Recent blood sugar testing (HbA1c) is at least 8.0% on two checks in the last year
  • Your child should have a higher risk of limited access, such as lower household income (or special circumstances approved by the study team)
  • Your child is not using a hybrid “automated insulin delivery” system right now
  • Your child does not have severe skin problems that would make wearing device skin/adhesives hard
