Studying outcomes after burst brain blood vessel aneurysms

Aneurysmal Subarachnoid HemorrhageEndovascular ProceduresCraniotomyPatient Outcome AssessmentTreatment Outcome

Part of Brain & nervous system, Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study looks at what happens over time after a burst brain blood vessel aneurysm that caused bleeding around the brain. Your care team may use the study results to better predict outcomes and guide treatment for people like you.

Study of long-term outcomes after a ruptured brain aneurysm bleed

This trial is a long-term follow-up study of people who come to the emergency room with a ruptured brain aneurysm (bleeding in the space around the brain). It helps doctors understand what outcomes are most common and what may affect recovery over time.

Study builds prediction tools after aneurysm bleeding

This study looks at early test results and brain scans to predict outcomes after an aneurysm causes subarachnoid hemorrhage. It mainly collects information to build a risk prediction model, which may help doctors plan care more effectively in the future.

Studying biological samples from aneurysmal SAH patients

This trial collects blood, spinal fluid, urine, and stool samples from people who have had a specific type of stroke caused by a brain aneurysm. The goal is to look at these samples in detail to learn more about the condition and possibly find new ways to treat or predict outcomes.

Early Blood Pressure Treatment After Aneurysm Repair

This study tests whether starting blood pressure treatment soon after surgery or coiling for a brain aneurysm can improve recovery. It is for people who had a bleeding stroke from a ruptured aneurysm and are in the hospital for treatment.

Checking for belly aneurysms after brain aneurysm

This study checks if people who had a brain aneurysm (subarachnoid hemorrhage) later develop an abdominal aortic aneurysm, which is a bulge in the main artery in the belly. They will use an ultrasound to look at the abdominal aorta about a year or more after the brain bleed.

Study of delayed brain injury after aneurysm bleed

This study follows people with a brain bleed from a ruptured aneurysm in real-world hospital settings. It aims to better understand delayed brain damage after the bleed, which could help improve care.
