- You had bleeding around the brain (subarachnoid hemorrhage) confirmed on CT scan or a lumbar puncture
- An aneurysm (a weakened blood vessel) was proven to be the cause within 6 months
- You are 18 years or older when you first presented
- You can give written informed consent
