Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 50 years old
  • This was your first-ever TIA or acute ischemic stroke
  • Your diagnosis was confirmed with a brain scan (CT or MRI)
  • Your kidney function is good enough (eGFR greater than 30)
  • You can safely take part in MRI at 3 Tesla if needed
  • You can read and understand Dutch well enough for consent and follow-up
