Who can take part

  • You agree to sign the informed consent form
  • You have confirmed oral squamous cell carcinoma (oral cancer type)
  • You’re age 18–75 and can do daily activities fairly well (ECOG performance status 0–1)
  • Your cancer is locally advanced stage III or IVb, and your doctor can measure at least one visible spot (measurable lesion)
  • You have not had prior full-course cancer treatments for this oral cancer (no prior chemo, immune checkpoint drugs like anti–PD-1/PD-L1, or similar targeted immune drugs)
  • Your blood, liver, kidney, clotting, and heart test results are within required limits, and you can use effective birth control
