Who can take part
- Be 18 to 75 years old
- Have had complete (R0/R1) surgery for GIST, and your doctor determined you are high risk for recurrence
- Completed about 3 years of imatinib after surgery, with scans showing no visible tumor
- Have a negative blood test for ctDNA (no detectable cancer DNA) before joining
- No key “imatinib resistance” gene changes on genetic testing (for example SDH-deficient, NF1-mutant, BRAF-mutant, or NTRK3 rearranged GIST)
- Be able to follow the study plan and provide needed follow-up visits, scans, and blood samples
